Mi-8 MTV

  • The more powerful version of our Mi-8 T helicopter, featuring twin Klimov TV3-117 engines. The Mi-8 MTV features the same spacious cabin as the T model, but with greater lifting capacity and range. It also offers true Hot/High/Heavy capability.
  • Capable of carrying 26 people or four tonnes of cargo (at sea level)
  • Fuel and all major components are mounted externally to allow unrestricted access to the exceptionally wide area cargo.
  • Access to the passenger / cargo area is through the large 'clam shell' doors or sliding side door.
  • Cargo can be carried in the cabin or from the external sling.
