  • The incredible Mi-26 is the world's largest and most powerful helicopter (20,000 HP), capable of carrying a maximum of 22,000 Kg at sea level.
  • Cargo can be carried in the cavernous C130-sized cargo bay or using the external sling.
  • Access to the cargo area is via a power-operated ramp and large clam shell doors. Loading is assisted by built-in cargo hoists.
  • The Mi-26 can carry fuel trucks, heavy maufacturing equipment, construction cranes, bridge components, groups of Jeeps, pallets - it will even lift a Chinook heavy lift helicopter.
