Il-76

  • Four turbofan medium / longhaul freighter
  • Il-76 is designed to operate from the most basic airfields.
  • To accommodate a large, easy to load / unload cargo compartment, the IL-76 was built with high T-tail, rear loading ramp and a high mounted wing.
  • The cargo area is fully pressurised and has a heavy duty floor which can accept a large variety of self-loading wheeled or tracked vehicles.
  • Overhead winches and hoists can also be fitted. The rear doors can be opened in flight to allow air dropping.
  • AYR can arrange to deliver its Mi-8 series helicopters anywhere in the world using the Il-76. Two Mi-8s can be delivered in a single Il-76.
